The glass blown red-orange Lava vases by Anna Jožová are a development in color and dimension of the approach taken by the artist in the Keto series. They combine two layers of glass and copper wire, where the flow of enamel through the modeled copper wire gives the shape of the vase a dynamic appearance. Thematically, this series is again based on the eventuality of extinction caused by a natural disaster. The natural process of a volcanic eruption inspires the appearance of the vases. Also, it refers, among other things, to the folly of the inhabitants of Pompeii, which its inhabitants proudly built near a volcano.
