PRACTICE is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Seoul, South Korea, founded in 2020 by Seohu Ahn and Sisan Lee. The studio engages in a broad spectrum of creative fields, including space design, exhibitions, art direction, installations, furniture, objects, and material experimentation. PRACTICE embraces a philosophy rooted in the exploration of form, materiality, and the honest use of industrial materials, balancing sculptural expression with functionality.Seoul's dynamic environment serves as both a challenge and an inspiration for PRACTICE, pushing the studio to create works that are responsive to fast-paced trends while maintaining a timeless quality. Their portfolio includes projects for cafes, restaurants, retail spaces, galleries, and collaborations with avant-garde brands like RAINS and HATCHINGROOM, showcasing their versatility and forward-thinking design sensibility.PRACTICE's design approach emphasizes tactile experimentation and an intimate engagement with the making process. Rejecting the purely conceptual, the studio's work focuses on creating tangible, meaningful experiences through material honesty and sculptural exploration. This approach is reflected in their use of everyday materials and objects, which are transformed into designs that evoke both familiarity and originality.
