Description

White Moon is a wall lamp by Anne Nowak, part of the Moon Light series, a group of light works made in collaboration with Art Group 1103.

With the light source on, the work is like a nebula encased in an iron shell. With the light source off, it is a round relief reminiscent of a distant planet. These are two very different expressions and impressions, each with its own mood.

The works are produced in Denmark and are unique and handmade. Each is made of aluminium and then hand painted by Anne Nowak, and mounts directly on the wall.

  • Setup: mounted on a wall with three flat head screws, Ø4.5–5.0 mm
  • Light source: comes with a top-mirror LED, and it is always recommended to use the same type
  • Max 15W LED · 230V · E27 socket · class II · IP20

Needs a transformer for use outside the EU, since the fixture is built for EU power.

Maintenance: wipe with a dry cloth, or if necessary with a hard-wrung cloth. Never use strong detergents or solvents.

Recurrent themes are impermanence and eternity, life and death, dark and light, the sun and the moon. The inherent polarities of our existence that form the endless cycle of all beings
