The Pattern of Industry is a furniture series featuring geometric patterns created by assembling cross-sections of industrial aluminum profiles. The functional material initially produced for utility, transforms into an aesthetic object, evoking a sense of “tradition” subjectively shaped by the viewer’s cultural background. The ease of assembling aluminum profiles, combined with the artist’s newly discovered narratives, allows the series to expand into various everyday furniture and art pieces.
This is a work with anodized coloring applied. All the edges are manually filed.
