Description

The Stone Flower Table Lamps feature three legged ceramic construction in off white finishes. The ceramic material provides a rough, matte surface. Each lamp combines organic form with contemporary lines and diffuses light softly. Well-suited for bedside tables or living room side tables. The ceramic base offers solid weight for stability. Contemporary styling works with modern furnishings while the neutral tones complement various color schemes.
Care instructions: Use a duster which is a cleaning tool that consists of a handle and a bunch of feathers or synthetic fibers attached to one end. The idea is to use the duster to sweep away the dust from the surface, without having to apply much pressure or moisture. Use a vacuum with adjustable suction for interior or the lamp. Handle with care, reduce the vacuum pressure.

About Katia Langeard Visit Showroom →

Katia Langeard is a designer and ceramic artist based in the South of France, where she creates sculptural lighting, collectible objects, and furniture that explore the dialogue between art, architecture, and material.Born in Soviet Union, she grew up in artistic environment shaped by her grandfather, architect and painter Oleg Goryachev. His fascination with sculpture, made an enormous impact on her understanding to form, craftsmanship, and the emotional power of objects.Under his guidance, she learned to draw, carve wood, and make objects by hand from an early age. The family homes were not usual Soviet housing, they were filled with grandfather’s creations - wooden sculptural furniture, mirrors, chandeliers, copper wall lights and handcrafted objects, transforming everyday life into a living artistic landscape. This experience profoundly influenced her sensitivity to form, craftsmanship, and the emotional power of objects.Although Katia discovered ceramics during childhood, she graduated from the best architectural school available in the former Soviet Union before her path first led her into the world of interior architecture. After moving to Europe in 2012, she worked in luxury interior design project management, collaborating on international projects involving designers such as Philippe Starck, Peter Marino, Brian McCarthy and Jean-Louis Deniot. The desire to create with her own hands, inherited from her grandfather, eventually brought her back to clay. Ceramics became a natural extension of her lifelong fascination with material and form, and today she considers it both her vocation and her life's mission.Since 2019, her teacher and mentor Stéphane Montalto, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) during 5 years has been opening to her ceramics again. She also studied ceramic mould-making at the École d'Art Céramique de Vallauris, France, and attended masterclasses with ceramic artists Gustavo Pérez and Kate Malone. In 2024, she completed an artistic residency in Vallauris. Her work inspired by themes of memory, migration, geological transformation and the landscape where she lives and works. Through clay, she seeks to create timeless objects that exist at the intersection of sculpture, design and architecture.
