A surrealist inquiry into perception and materiality, DUK by Studio Tooj blurs the line between illusion and reality, challenging the way we interact with everyday objects. At first glance, it appears to be a softly draped cloth resting in a corner, but a closer look reveals its true nature—an artfully sculpted, functional piece that redefines spatial presence.

Encased in Reishi™, an innovative biomaterial cultivated from mycelium, each DUK piece carries the organic imprint of nature. The subtle textures and delicate variations of the material enhance the illusion, making it appear almost weightless while maintaining a structured, sculptural form.

Both an object of contemplation and a functional art piece, DUK transforms any space into a dialogue between material innovation and artistic surrealism.
