The Athari Table Lamp draws its weathered, tree-trunk-like texture from the beauty of aged and fallen wood, translated entirely into handworked clay. It holds its own switched off, which makes it as suited to a mantel as to a bedside table.
The Astēri Table Lamp takes its cues from the cosmos instead — an organic, porous surface reminiscent of a comet or a celestial body, glowing softly like the tail of one when lit. It suits a study or reading corner that wants something quieter than Athari’s rougher texture.

The Aurora Table Lamp by Hasik Design Studio is built from hand-brushed raw aluminum around simple geometric forms, its circle-and-rectangle silhouette casting shadows that recall a solar eclipse. Sculptural Plastics
Plastic gets a bad reputation in design circles, and these three make the case against it.
The Maze Table Lamp by Stijn van Aardenne is 3D-printed from discarded refrigerator plastic, extruded in a unique seamless pattern around a rotating tube so no two lamps repeat. Perched on three stainless steel legs, it stays interesting even switched off.
The Citadel Small Table Lamp by Ultramar Studio channels an entirely different reference — Chinese mythology’s Heavenly Palace — into a 3D-printed lantern form finished by hand. It suits a space that wants a light source with a narrative behind it.
The Mori Table Lamp by Julie Mallet Studio takes its silhouette from a morel mushroom, cast in plant-based PLA enriched with recycled coffee grounds. Light passing through the shade reveals a texture that only shows itself once switched on.
