Description

Designed by Vanessa Singenzia and handmade in Romania, the "Chanka-Hanka" Mobile Chandelier grew out of the designer’s wish to learn a new modelling technique and better understand her own practice.

The piece gathers a cluster of hanging stoneware and metal shapes that were never forced into a final form — instead, each was allowed to settle intuitively during the making process until the whole composition found its balance. The result is a mobile chandelier that fills the space with a playful touch while still bringing a considered amount of light into a room.

"Chanka-Hanka" can be bought as the full two-piece work (deux-pieces) or as a single piece. Customisation is available on request.
