Eoni takes its name from an eon, an immeasurably long span of time, a fitting name for an object that leaves more questions than answers. The design grew from an exploration of contrasts: a softly glowing opal glass sphere set against dark steel and sharply defined, hand-textured brass elements. The asymmetrical brass fin at the top is more than a visual counterpoint to the sphere; it also serves as a natural handle.
Lit, Eoni becomes an almost self-contained sphere of warm light; switched off, the light gives way to the geometry, textures and material contrasts of the object itself. Because the texturing is done by hand, each piece is unique.
Light source: three standard G9 dimmable bulbs (not included), with an in-line cord dimmer and a 1.9 m black textile cable. Suitable for both 230V and 110V; US and UK customers receive the appropriate plug. Customisation is available on request.
