Description

Inspired by the phases of the moon, the Crescent Pendant Lamp captures lunar mysticism in a contemporary, sophisticated design. Its spherical shape, crafted from metal, evokes the perfection of a full moon, while a precise, elegant central cut lets light filter softly through, creating an immersive visual effect. That central cut, inspired by the interplay of light and shadow during the crescent moon phase, is the defining feature of the piece, projecting warm, even illumination that adds depth and dynamism to a space. Combined with the texture and finish of the metal, it becomes both a functional and artistic object.Crescent suits a range of settings, whether as a statement piece in a spacious living room or arranged in multiples for more intimate spaces. Finishes range from matte tones to metallic hues, customisable to match any interior style. Designed by Sebastián Beltrán for Natural Urbano. Compatible with both 110V and 220V.

About Natural Urbano - Sebastián Beltrán Visit Showroom →

Sebastián Beltrán's work is characterized by its circular and monochromatic narrative, where each piece weaves together elements that delicately and consistently reference the industrial, aqueous, labor-related, temporal, and procedural. Materials such as steel, cement, resins, and simple mechanisms come to life in his creations, resulting in hypnotic works that explore the relationship between form and function. His dual professional focus, which merges art and design, allows him to move fluidly between the two disciplines, using each as a source of inspiration for the other. This versatility has enabled him to transcend formal and object-based limitations, producing pieces that blend functionality, aesthetics, and profound conceptual depth. Sebastián Beltrán is a visual artist and designer, as well as the founder and creative director of Natural Urbano, a Mexican brand specializing in the design and manufacturing of contemporary lighting and furniture. Together with his wife, Lorena Márquez, a graphic designer, he has brought to life a brand that seamlessly combines creativity, functionality and a deep connection between art and design. His studio is located in the city of León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
