Description

Leaky Lamp I by Pablo Ejarque-González is a grotesque dialogue between ash wood, brass, and bioplastic. Its silhouette evokes the unsettling image of an oil spill—a visual paradox that critiques unsustainable practices while presenting a sustainable material. The clean geometry of a traditional lamp is interrupted by cascading drips—an organic disruption that transforms its identity and demands attention.

Each drip solidifies a fleeting moment, a dialogue between gravity, material, and maker. The result is a singular, unrepeatable piece—an artifact of transformation that captures the beauty of imperfection and the inevitability of change. Leaky Lamp I invites us to contemplate renewal, urging reflection on the fragile balance between destruction and growth.

About Pablo Ejarque-González Visit Showroom →

Spanish designer now calling Brooklyn home, Pablo weaves together the technical precision of his Industrial Design Engineering studies at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) with the bold, avant-garde spirit nurtured during his MFA in Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). This melodious blend gives rise to a distinct vision of contemporary design, where the rigor of technique dances with the freedom of artistic exploration. With over five years immersed in the world of contract furniture manufacturing, his expertise has shaped hotels and restaurants across Europe. Along the way, he has co-signed numerous product patents in partnership with his clients, each one a quiet mark of his creative genius. As part of international exhibitions, including ICFF/Wanted Design Manhattan, Design X Rhode Island, and FITUR Madrid, his pieces have left a lasting impression wherever they have been shown. In 2025 he will be part of Greenhouse Stockholm, Ambiente Frankfurt and SaloneSatellite Milano. For Pablo, design is not merely a process—it is the place where art and function converge, a space where imagination is sculpted into purpose, and creativity finds its true form.
