Description

Introducing the “Doko Lamp”, the latest edition to Talbot & Yoon’s TOON collection of small, blobby, and friendly household objects!

TOON by Talbot & Yoon uses round, playful geometry and joyful color to more deeply connect objects of everyday use with those who use them, promoting positivity and empathy in design. The designers explain that they are tired of merely useful things that do not speak to them as individuals, what’s the point of consumer choice if the products don’t make us feel any particular way about them?

These table lamps are composed of a ceramic base, a blown-glass globe, and a fabric cord.
They ship with a dimmable 2700K LED G9 bulb.

About Talbot & Yoon Visit Showroom →

Talbot & Yoon believe that it if it isn’t fun, why bother? This is why we promote play as the central driver of our own productivity and maintain that while the products we sell are ‘finished’ when they leave our studio that they are never truly finished; the end user takes over by actively participating with our design objects both physically and emotionally. We imagine a world of products that people can take home and play with, products that can grow and change as peoples’ needs and desires grow and change.
