OHUS bench is pure minimalism. Four signal-coloured steel discs and an ash panel, united by two crosses. A visual design highlight and intelligent modular furniture for modern nomads, multifunctional, portable and easy to dismantle. Ideal as a bench, sideboard or side table for private and public spaces, cafés, museums, schools. Stacked to save space, the bench becomes a high shelf or room divider. OHUS bench stands for young German furniture design at its best.
The minimalist Church of Light by architecture autodidact Tadao Andō inspired design autodidact Daniel Heilig to create the boldly conceived, radically reduced bench architecture OHUS. Crossed, interlocking steel legs ending flush with the two milled X sitting surface. Archaic materials, firmly connected by 8 concealed screws. 3 mm powder-coated steel for stability. OHUS is available as a bench and a stool.
