Description

KÖNIGSWINTER is light, age-defying, contemporary architectural furniture. The cabinet rests, sublimely tall, on delicate maple stilts. Weather-brightened, corrugated panels: luminous, as if by magic. Translucent waves shimmer enigmatically, shell-like, a promise of protection. Continuously transforming in the room, with moods of changing light. Two softly closing doors open to the body. The slender frame and shelves precision made of local maple, hand-jointed according to old carpentry tradition.

About Heilig Objects Visit Showroom →

Daniel Heilig, born in Budapest in 1985, is a self-taught artist, photographer, musician and designer with a current studio workshop in Darmstadt, Germany. The visionary free spirit's way of thinking, creative urge and creative power are unlimited. Design is in him. Everything inspires him. The beauty of the moment, iconographic characters and architecture, coincidence. Everything fertilizes each other. Daniel Heilig is not interested in what design is allowed to do. He believes in good design. It fills living spaces with aesthetics, atmosphere and a unique story. It is an expression of individuality and created for generations. The young non-conformist misses these qualities in German furniture design. He fills this vacuum with an authentic design language and touchingly warm, elegant and harmonious designs, unique pieces of furniture and collectible design pieces between design and art.
