Description

This piece by Studio Kloak shifts character depending on its state. Switched off, it invites quiet study of the natural texture and patina of rare Pecky Cypress wood — the grain carrying its own sense of history and the passage of time. Illuminated, it transforms: a modern LED activates the piece, casting a warm glow that draws out the wood’s organic voids and intricate character.

That duality — between still object and active light source, past and present — is central to the design, framed by the studio as a meditation on legacy and quiet transformation.

Integrated LED lighting comes with a streamlined inline toggle switch for simple on/off use.
