Vlad Oganov is a Warsaw-based designer who loves turning an idea into something you can actually hold. He spent years as a programmer, building things that couldn't be touched — until the need to make something real, something that takes up space and changes the atmosphere around it, led him to light. That background still shapes how he works: breaking a process into steps, embracing the limits of his tools, testing and refining until a form begins to live.

He thinks of his lamps as sculptures of light — pieces made with a craftsman's care and today's tools. But what matters most to him isn't the object itself; it's how it makes a place feel. The warmth in a corner, the soft glow on a wall in the evening, a room a little more like home. A lamp is never really just an object on its own — it becomes meaningful in relation to the wall it lights, the table it shares, the evening ritual it marks.

Oganov draws on the clarity of Bauhaus and the expressive spirit of 1970s Italian design, using 3D printing as a bridge between the digital and the physical. He works primarily with bio-based materials, pairing softly textured printed shades with hand-finished bases, and designs each lamp as a complete object — visually engaging whether lit or unlit. Modular construction allows elements to be repaired or replaced, extending each piece's life. Every lamp is made in small batches, on demand, in his Warsaw studio — design as an act of care for the material, the space, and the people who will live with it.
