Pirouette. is a design studio founded in 2019 by Alexis Jacquot.

His practice explores the relationships between material, gesture and territory. Each piece is born from immersion in a workshop, from attention paid to the qualities of a material, as well as to the techniques and know-how that give it form. The creations (produced as unique pieces or in small series) reveal either a specific and characteristic property of the material used, or ancestral know-how or a unique shaping technique. Mainly made from waste or surplus production, these pieces promote a careful and responsible creative process.

At the heart of this approach lies a profoundly human dimension: valuing craftsmanship, respecting existing resources and designing sustainable objects that are rooted in their manufacturing context.
