| Biography |
Studio Akademie is an Istanbul-based design practice established in 2022 by the joint efforts of Emre Uzun and Selina Şişik.
We focus on building a visual language composed of unique objects, temporary and permanent spaces as a creative studio. The final outcome is the result of the processes involving experiment and research over materials, forms and manufacturing techniques in unfamiliar territory. We strive for visual excitement and tangible sensations, while remaining on the fine line between contemporary art and design in a fluid sense.
