Triqis is the London design studio of product designer Kwaku Boateng, creating furniture and lighting intended to endure: materially, culturally and emotionally.

Kwaku's work draws on both his British and West Indian heritage. He spent formative years of his childhood in Trinidad, painting and debating with his grandfather, a lawyer turned artist, and taking part in the arts festivals hosted by his aunt, a television presenter. The fretwork of Port of Spain's gingerbread houses later became the foundation of his Fretwork collection, including the LP1F pendant.

Each piece is made in the United Kingdom from honest materials chosen to last: metals refined through precise fabrication, and leathers that soften and deepen with use. Its forms are informed by stories carried through family, culture and memory, and its light is treated as atmosphere: gentle, controlled and intended to bring people together.

Founded in 2019, the studio has been featured in Dezeen, Monocle, The World of Interiors and House & Garden, named among Condé Nast's Top 25 Rising Stars in 2024, and exhibited at the Design Museum and the London Design Festival.
