With a background in mechanical design and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, I find myself in a long-standing conflict with design itself. Almost everything around us is designed – and within that design lies intention, utility, servitude. Heavily coded objects that shape and condition us on a subconscious level.

A persistent sense of not being reflected in these things, of not being addressed. So, a stubborn refusal to accept the formal language of contemporary design, have shaped my work.

Over time, this dissonance became a driving force: to build the objects I want to see! And through them, a world that feels more like ours.
