Founded by sisters Norma and Cynthia Maldonado, Tana Karei is a furniture and interior design studio dedicated to creating timeless spaces and heirloom-quality pieces. Working alongside some of Mexico's finest master artisans, we unite traditional craftsmanship, noble materials, and contemporary design with meticulous attention to every detail. Every piece is handcrafted with integrity, created to last for generations.
Through our furniture and interior design studio, we create timeless objects and spaces that encourage a slower, more intentional way of living. We design for everyday rituals, fostering a deeper connection between people and space.
Our work is guided by the conviction that true luxury lies in authenticity, permanence, and thoughtful design. We create pieces with the intention to invite contemplation, tranquility, and human connection, reflecting the individuality and curiosity of those who presence it. Tana Karei represents beauty in it’s most purest and natural state.
At Tana Karei, contemporary elegance meets ancestral craftsmanship to create furniture and interiors with soulful pieces that transcend trends, celebrate the beauty of natural materials, and become part of a family's legacy for generations to come.
