Biography

OOG is a design practice dedicated to glass. The name refers to archiving pieces as G stands for glassware. Each piece in our collection is handcrafted in Poland, using mass-tinted glass. The objects are shaped with traditional glassblowing techniques that employ wooden forms and tools.

OOG Objects is led by Alicja Hajkowicz-Rudzka, architect and designer. Educated at Politecnico di Milano, The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology, her design transcends disciplinary boundaries.

Her practice spans architecture, installations, and objects. She seeks dialogue between research and intuition, where the final result emerges from the tension between intention and the unknown. Driven by curiosity, her process begins with intention and openness to material expression. The final form is not imposed, it emerges from a poetic narrative, through gestures that shape the liquid material.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Villa Borsani during Alcova 2025 at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Silent Matters at NYCxDESIGN 2025 in New York, and 3 Days of Design 2024 at The House of Danish Design in Copenhagen.

We believe in the uniqueness of glass objects, emphasizing their individuality and beauty that comes from the process. The objects are made to last, to be used, kept and passed on. Through our collection, we aim to inspire a sense of wonder for the extraordinary found in these everyday masterpieces.
