Description

Kinoko is more than a single object; it is a series of side tables exploring diverse interpretations of mushrooms and their organic presence in interior spaces. Inspired by the question of how we perceive nature through our own perspective, the works merge traditional craftsmanship with advanced digital fabrication. Central to the series is the “Sea Cucumber” glaze, a Japanese ceramic technique refined over thousands of years, lending each table a rich tactile depth. The three color variations—light blue symbolizing sky and air, dark blue reflecting water, and fiery red evoking fire—reference essential natural elements. Each table form represents a unique stage of growth, embodying the organic cycle of transformation. Together, they gesture toward a broader vision: expanding Kinoko into an immersive forest of sculptural design objects.

The side table is a unique piece, handmade.
The glaze in particular makes each piece different from the next.
Items can be placed on the three different levels for use or decoration.

About Studio Bovti Visit Showroom →

Studio Bovti is the joint work of Inna Strokous and Marius Schwald, whose focus is the realization of unique furniture and objects through a combination of craft by hand and digital production methods. The main features of their approach are a bold use of materials, playful forms and the powerful expression of thoughts and feelings. The projects deliberately differ from one another in their formal language, appearance and materiality. In this way, Studio Bovti ensures that their joy of experimentation is never lost and that they pursue new visions and challenges in their daily work with a touch of healthy naivety. Studio Bovti sees their process as an expression of joy. They celebrate the instincts of the inner child that are within all of us and deserve a voice. At the same time, viewers’ perceptions are also relevant, and the objects invite the imagination. In each project Studio Bovti expresses their passions and love for art by creating handmade objects of the highest quality.
