Drawing inspiration from nature’s graceful curves, the CONCHA pendant light collection by MESEME Studio embodies a tranquil haven, combining visual delicacy with physical robustness.
Flecked paper is paired with warm brass details and hand-blown opal ellipsoid glass shades, the pearl-like opal diffusing light more or less depending on the angle and translucency of the shades. Available across three angular models, two sizes and five colourways, the collection is handcrafted and assembled in MESEME’s London studio. Paper is sourced from paper pioneers G.F Smith: vanilla, ochre, brick red and chestnut brown come from the Gmund mill, using elemental chlorine-free pulp and spent brewer’s grain, giving the paper a gentle, textured flecking (available only in this fixed palette); royal blue comes from G.F Smith’s sustainably produced colour-plan range, which offers a further 55 colours.
