Description

The “Fetish” collection by Soledre is inspired by the fetish world, utilizing materials such as latex, wax and leather. Just like our the human body, these objects are delicate and require proper aftercare in order to thrive.

This vase was casted in translucent paraffin wax using a specific process to achieve an “ombre” finish, its surface was then textured using heat giving it a melted look.

The vase is watertight and can hold water, it should not be directly exposed to intense sunlight or kept in temperatures exceeding 47 Celsius (117 Fahrenheit).

Pierre Klein is a French artist and designer based in Toulouse whose work explores the tension between physical space and lost timelines. Bridging artisanal craftsmanship, formal research, and technical exploration, he shapes clay into objects and furniture that exist as blurry, twisted vestiges—relics of stories that never happened, bearing witness to submerged pasts and uncertain, dystopian futures.Haunted by the megalopolises he lived in for nearly twenty years, Klein draws inspiration from science fiction, prehistoric art, and the Space Age furniture of the 1960s and ’70s.
