Description

This sculptural, yet highly functional, side table was born out of a natural state of curiosity. Fascinated by unconventional and unorthodox ways of keeping art books close by, designer Mantas Lesauskas has created this hand-carved “Side Book Table”. He believes that a horizontal position for art books is more attractive and functional, leading to this form of side table.

The inspiration for this type of short term art book holder is the canteen tray holder. Each side table has a human quality, with irregular surface carving marks left by a chisel.

The side table can be either small (39x29x64) or medium (42x29x64), and the two sizes can be used together.

Please be advised that this piece is for short-term art book storage, as thinner books might warp if held this way for long periods.
