Seamlessnote is a design studio founded by Nayeon Yoo and Yuchan Choi, working across furniture, objects, and spatial installations. The studio investigates how everyday gestures such as hanging, placing, or stacking can be translated into physical structures. Rather than treating furniture as static objects, their work frames these ordinary actions as spatial operations that shape how objects appear and coexist within a space.Their pieces often move between functional furniture and sculptural display. Garments, vessels, and personal belongings become active elements within the structure, transforming familiar items into part of a spatial composition. Through inversion, scaling, and shifts in orientation, a single geometry can produce multiple conditions where objects exist in, by, and on the same form.Material experimentation plays an important role in their practice. Seamlessnote enjoys working with a wide range of materials, from industrial metals such as stainless steel to ceramics and other tactile surfaces. The studio is particularly interested in how different materials influence the perception and use of an object. Fabrication processes, including welding and visible joints, are often left exposed, allowing the traces of making to remain present within the final piece.Both designers are trained in spatial design, and their work reflects an architectural approach to objects. Furniture is treated not only as an independent piece but as part of a larger spatial system that organizes how everyday objects accumulate, are displayed, and interact with the surrounding environment. Through this approach, Seamlessnote explores the shifting boundary between object, furniture, and space.
