    Description

    The Trn / Model D1 is a pendant lamp by Pani Jurek STUDIO, part of the TRN collection — a body of work for which Magda Jurek was honored with the Mazda Design Award 2021.

    The three-dimensional objects in the collection are inspired by a Jan Tarasin painting: simple calligraphic forms which can play together as if they were letters from a non-existent alphabet. The hand-crafted process of glazing ceramics is what gives the collection its truly unique character, and each piece is finished with brass elements. Each ceramic element can be done in one of 14 available colors.

    Height is made to order. Please write the length you need while placing the order. The minimal length for this model is 60 cm / 23,62″.

    Pani Jurek was established in 2010 by Magda Jurek, a painting graduate who thinks of her objects as signs, sculptures or installations, treating them also as tools for building abstract compositions.Pani Jurek's objects go beyond conventional function. Interactivity is their inherent feature. Conceived as part of a composition, they are designed in response to their surroundings and the people who use them. However, the usability of Pani Jurek's products is never neglected. The possibilities are tamed by ergonomics and material.A deep fascination with materials, mostly ceramics and respect for its possibilities and limitations is visible in all of Pani Jurek's work. All objects are produced on site in Pani Jurek’s studio, mostly by hand, under the designer’s vigilant eye.
