Description

The Fiasca takes inspiration from storage vessels made in fairly standard shapes, they were designed to fit with dozens of others on a shelf, often in a pharmacy or shop. Their handles therefore tend to fit within the vessel’s profile, and the jar is generally narrower at the middle than at the top or bottom, making it easy to grip. The ceramic is handthrown and the orignal decor has been blacked out. The shiny black glaze has been rubbed by hand by the artisans to give this matte finish.

About COSEINCORSO Visit Showroom →

COSEINCORSO is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Marzia Cerio and Marwann Frikach. Their approach aims to reintroduce poetics into the production process of objects and highlights the cultural context in which they are made. They focus on research and handcrafted production as well as on the valorization and transmission of know-how while working in collaboration with artisans and sourcing local materials. Each project is inspired by history, archaeology, and geography and translates the essence of a region into physical form.
