Description

The Albarello is inspired by medicinal jars used to hold apothecaries’ ointments and dry drugs. Its shape made it easier to store on apothecary shelves. The ceramic is hand-thrown and the original decor has been blacked out. The shiny black glaze has been rubbed by hand by the artisans to give this matte finish.
