Silent Archive is a unique hand-built ceramic sculpture from Stella Arion’s black stoneware series exploring pressure, distortion and the body as a site of structural tension.
The work is not conceived as a functional vessel, but as an autonomous sculptural object. Its compressed, asymmetrical form suggests a body shaped by force, weight and memory. Built slowly by hand using coiling, the piece carries visible traces of pressure, touch and resistance, allowing the surface to function almost like a record of its own making.
The sculpture is made from black stoneware and finished with industrial glazes developed through extensive testing. Silent Archive belongs to Arion’s wider research into post-industrial abstraction, material tension and the emotional architecture of the body.
As a collectible design object, the work can be placed as an independent sculptural piece on a plinth, shelf, console or low architectural surface. It is a unique piece.
