The Sand Series by Vogel Studio redefines the art of glassmaking, combining fluidity and texture to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces. Each piece is crafted by blowing molten glass into oil sand, a material traditionally used in the casting industry. This process captures the rough, crumbly textures of the sand, imprinting them onto the glass and crystallizing into stone-like forms of extraordinary brilliance.

Hand-blown and meticulously polished in Sweden or Germany, every object in the Sand Series is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship and artistry. The organic interplay between the glass and sand ensures that no two pieces are alike. Each work is individually signed at the bottom, making it a uniquely personal expression of Vogel Studio’s vision.

The Sand Series is not just a collection of glass objects—it is a fusion of material and process, transforming industrial techniques into sculptural art forms.
