Description

Mosaic Umbrella reverses the logic of an object made to shield. Rather than blocking what falls from above, its stained glass canopy allows light to pass through, fragmenting and recasting it across the space below.

Each piece of glass carries its own color, texture, and degree of opacity. The light itself remains unchanged, yet its passage through the surface produces shifting conditions of perception. What is meant to protect becomes a structure through which light is altered, divided, and experienced differently.

Hand cut stained glass pieces are individually assembled and lead soldered within a vibration finished stainless steel structure.

About Undress House Visit Showroom →

Jaeho Lee is an artist based in Seoul working through Undress House, where objects remain open before function and definition close around them. His works often take the form of functional objects, but their function does not settle into use alone. Instead, each work holds opposing states within a single form, allowing contradiction to become part of its structure.
