Made from walnut root, Lumix Wood is hand-treated in an oud instrument workshop in Istanbul, a process that gives the lamp a warm, shiny surface reflecting light in a soothing way. The design is meant as a conversation piece — inspired by the diversity of modern cities and built to sit comfortably in contemporary homes that welcome open, cross-cultural conversation.
Its most distinctive feature is the interlocking base — two laser-cut wooden legs, hand-polished by master craftsmen — giving the lamp a stable, elegant stance. The shade is a fully recyclable polycarbonate cylinder that diffuses a warm light and highlights the walnut’s natural grain.
