A sculptural totem drawn from overlooked infrastructure reimagined in black wood and stainless steel.
At nearly six feet tall, Line of Memories is the first object in the Conoid Collection. Its form draws from a recurring shape seen in Indian urban
architecture such as the junction between vertical and horizontal elements in flyovers and the body of towering water tanks. Once functional, now
sculptural, the silhouette is distilled and recontextualized as an object of quiet presence.
The structure is composed of three equidistant vertical stacks, joined into a singular, non-modular body. Intersecting stainless steel tubes at the base
form a cross-section that offers both stability and a sense of spatial tension. The body is carved in matte black wood, with asymmetrical inlays in
stainless steel, each abstract, each intentional. The contrast between symmetry in structure and asymmetry in detail reflects the interplay of logic
and instinct in the design process. Line of Memories is intended for modern, pared-back interiors where sculptural objects don’t fill space, but define it.
