Description

A single cut splits the lemon. A single twist rearranges its parts. The same substance creates a different object.

Lemon–Split–Twist Cup translates the familiar form and textured skin of a lemon into porcelain. The fruit is divided and its parts are shifted into a slender, stemmed vessel. The transformation preserves the recognisable organic surface while giving it a new function as a 100 ml cup.

Each cup is made in porcelain. Small variations in shape and surface are part of the character of the open edition. The cup is suitable for both the dishwasher and microwave.

Available as a Single cup, a Pair, or a made-to-order Table set of four cups.
