Description

This wall piece capture the gesture of the artist, who hammered the metal sheet by hand. Despite the physical strength this technique requires, the pattern produced is surprisingly soft and organic. Each hammer blow creating a random deformation, the pattern will always be 100% unique.

Dimensions and finishes are customisable upon request (maximum dimensions: 80 x 80 cm, maximum thickness: 1,5 mm). The polished stainless steel allows for easy maintenance of the piece.

Studio Kloumi is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Maastricht, Netherlands. Its founder, Clémentine Buffa, grew up in the south of France before graduating from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2022. Inspired by the singular beauty of natural elements (phenomenons, textures), the studio experiments with various processes to create unique pieces, mainly made of metal. Through an obsessive search for detail, Studio Kloumi has developed its identity, on the border between sculpture, art and design.
