Description

Fluid dynamics are inherently ephemeral, generating structures in constant transformation. The ripples formed by a stone cast into water, the shifting movement of a flame, or the gradual dissipation of smoke all reveal how gaseous and fluid masses evolve into endlessly variable forms. These phenomena suggest a vocabulary of continuous change, where no configuration is ever fixed.

Each piece in the Gaseous Collection captures a transient moment of this movement, translating it into a still, tactile form. Crafted in matte, unglazed Terra Nigra stoneware, the surface absorbs light and enhances the perception of depth, inviting close inspection. The eye is guided across the undulating geometry, animating the object with a sense of fluidity despite its material permanence. High-fired at 1250°C and glazed internally, the vessels are fully watertight and functional, suitable for holding flowers. Balancing sculptural presence with utility, the collection introduces a quiet complexity that integrates seamlessly into contemporary interiors.
