About Liquid Void Studio Visit Showroom →

Nottingham based ceramic artist Elise Argent Assoc. CSD creates colourful retro inspired ceramics under the name Liquid Void. Her practice is heavily influenced by the futuristic space age ideas of the 1960’s, pulling inspiration from graphic poster design, as well as home-wares and interiors. Working in stained porcelain, Elise pushes the limits of the material, creating gravity defying large scale works that reflect the psychedelic ideas of the era. Her experimental surface decoration allows for unique one-off sculptures, letting the material create its own patterns, using bold, bright colours.
