“We like to think that the material contains freedom by itself and in the act of creation, each object is born under the same creative concept, but they all have different aspects and are endowed with unique characteristics.
So all our objects will always be made to order and with different features from those shown in the photographs.”

About the designer

Melissa Aldrete and Luis Cárdenas founded this Ceramic studio, with the sole purpose of expressing the memorability of typical materials in a contemporary context, what the Popdots seeks is to strengthen the process and the concept, in order to provoke the development of unique and infinite series that increase the mastery and understanding of the ceramic material. The study has made installations and interventions that maintain the experimentation and the continuous search of the dialogue between the material, the body and its environment. Collaboration, research and exploration are the main ingredients that give life to each of your projects.
