The “Cloudy” cups communicate feelings of warmth and closeness. They were inspired by the experience of arctic winter and the disappearing horizons in the snowstorm when the sun’s rays peek across the horizon for just a moment through the darkness.
They are made of two-layered hand-blown glass. The top layer of glass is slowly grid away by hand in a long process, thus leaving an uneven and tactile, cloud-like semi-transparent textured surface.
