Description

The “Carn” collection by Soledre is inspired by “The Interface Series,” an obscure work of internet horror fiction written in 2016. These grotesque anatomical ceramic objects channel the visceral essence of the narrative. Immersed in the numerous subplots of the story, the designer sought to understand the experiences that drove the author to this creation, juxtaposing them with their own relationship to the body and material.

This fruit bowl was sculpted by hand by the artists, underglazes and glazes were applied in order to create textures that mimic organic materials.

I am a French artist and designer based in Toulouse. My work in objects and furniture explores the tension between physical space and lost timelines, turning clay into artifacts that materialize alternative and dystopian realities. These pieces exist as blurry, twisted, physical vestiges. Anchored in the present like lost memories, they unfold as immersive, reality-bending narratives designed to feed the collective imagination.
