Athari Table Lamp in Ceramic 
Inspired by the forms and textures of granite, this work from the Caldera Series explores the quiet solidity of rock through relief, density, and restrained tonal variation. Crafted in pigmented paper pulp and mounted on wood, the sculpture recreates a stone-like surface that invites both close looking and imagined touch.
The composition is organized around a compact triptych-like structure. Three vertical rounded forms emerge from a recessed arched field, separated by a subtle central seam that suggests three compressed panels fused into a single block. Rather than distinct elements, they read as one continuous mass, as if the surface had been slowly shaped from within.
The pale mineral ground is marked by fine granular textures and soft irregularities that reinforce the impression of compact matter and worn stone. Light incisions outline the arch and internal divisions, giving the piece a measured, almost architectural calm while preserving its organic presence.
A thin wooden support frames the work with a warm structural edge, creating a simple contrast that stabilizes the pale surface and anchors the composition. Within the Caldera series, the piece functions as a quiet stone icon, a unified surface where mass, form, and internal rhythm remain the primary language.
