This mini edition of the Botryoidal Lamp carries the same idea as its larger sibling into a smaller footprint: a bubbly form named after the mineral texture it echoes, grown digitally through code by Forma Rosa Studio, then handcrafted in ceramic with custom crystal glazes that react differently across folds and convexities as they fire in the kiln.

Sized for a vanity, nightstand, or coffee table, the piece is developed and fabricated with collaborating artisans in Peru, alongside Forma Rosa Studio’s Brooklyn practice, and comes with a reconfigurable orientation so it can be set down more than one way.

Forma Rosa Studio is a design studio based in Brooklyn, NYC, co-founded by Maria Teresa Castillo and Santiago Brown. Inspired by technology, art and natural phenomena, Forma Rosa Studio creates limited edition functional pieces that seek to bring us closer to our natural roots.
