Description

Axis is a magnetic vertical vessel, inspired by the coordinate systems of geometry and the ancient myth of axis mundi, an abstract concept present in many cultural traditions and religious beliefs. Designed as a linear vertical form, accented by a magnetic detail.

Handcrafted, signed, and numbered. Its modular and magnetic qualities enable adaptability within the design series. Forming a versatile system that generates new compositions and advances into a conceptual spatial inquiry.

Axis has a diameter of 6 mm. It balances due to its magnetic base and can be secured to any ferritic surface; on a raw steel table, a powder-coated steel shelf, or a silver-plated iron tray.
