This one-of-a-kind sculpture by Vale Ro is crafted from brown clay and enriched with personally formulated oxides and glazes, fired at 1250ºC to achieve a subtle yet powerful finish. Drawing from Amazonian visions and the timeless rhythm of the river, Within / Beyond blurs the line between the visible and the invisible, the internal and the external.

Two interwoven forms emerge in delicate balance, evoking the unity between humans, spirits, and the natural world. The piece plays with perception—are you inside it, or is it inside you?
