This runner rug features a modern abstract design in warm earthy tones of burgundy, brown, beige, and black. A layered cream and dark border frames the piece, while the center showcases bold, looping black lines set over a subtle grid pattern with small black square accents. This rug is handmade in Buenos Aires which makes each piece unique thus has a serial number and a date of production marked in the back. Made of 70% Merino wool from Argentina and upholstery grey linen backing.

Draken Studio is the tapestry project from Buenos Aires graphic designer Victoria Gondra. Rug Designs are first hand drawn on paper and then woven in cotton fabric with yarn using a hand tufting machine. All rugs are made in limited editions and as part of an collection which carries its own peculiarities, inspiration and narrative . Regardless of creating a geometrical or an organic design we always distance ourselves from clean and perfect lines because we are interested in revealing the artisans trace in each rug we produce. With this in mind as the brand motto we insure our products originality and the continuos growing of the project. We move away from repetition and challenge our creativity by avoiding producing large quantities enhancing the uniqueness and intentionality behind each collection.All rugs are in haus produced by a small team of designers and craftwomen who are constantly looking for the best Argentinians source materials.
