About the fabric:
A jacquard fabric featuring a fine geometric pattern inspired by Art Deco and Biedermeier aesthetics. Rows of uniform triangles evoke the sharp shards of a shattered porcelain or glass vessel. The contrasting color scheme lends the pattern a subtle Op-art quality, creating an impression of three-dimensional depth.
Its firm structure and distinct texture are best showcased on simple forms and smooth surfaces, free from gathers or draping. The fabric is suitable for furniture upholstery and the creation of textile interior accessories, such as cushions and bolsters.
Shard by Dekoma is available in seven colorways and, together with the Tile, Sandglass, and Scale fabrics, forms the Kaleidoscope collection.
