The BRTLSM candleholder articulates a Brutalist sensibility through radical geometric reduction. Steel plates interlock to form a structure defined as much by its voids as by its mass. The precisely calibrated intervals are active spatial agents, introducing rhythm, permeability, and shifting light into the severe order of the form. At its center, the candle becomes a temporal counterpoint: a flickering presence within the permanence of steel. The work situates itself between object and architecture, examining how construction, material, and atmosphere converge into an austere yet poetic expression.
Use taper candles with a diameter of 22 mm. Place candle upright. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Clean with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes.
