The Geta porcelain series is inspired by the Japanese Geta sandals. The pot and the bowl stand on two feet as a small detail to keep the general shape as pure as possible and hight light the material. Porcelain enameled with a natural glaze made of ash of box tree wood. It gives a soft touch and a slightly aqua reflection to the white porcelain.
This piece is a prototype. The shape became distorted after the glaze cooking. (see pictures)
The porcelain bisque is a porous material so we must avoid stagnant liquids inside.
